Our commitment
Maine ADHD Clinic wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The site was reviewed against this standard on October 6, 2026; the most significant issues found were corrected the same day, and the remaining minor items are being addressed.
What we’ve built in
- Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators
- A “Skip to content” link on every page
- Underlined links within text, so links never rely on color alone
- Semantic headings and landmarks for screen readers
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Layouts that reflow for mobile devices and zoomed text
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled for visitors whose devices request it
- No autoplaying media, carousels, or flashing content
Telehealth accessibility
If you need accommodations for telehealth visits, such as captioning support or extra time, mention it when you book and I will work with you.
Known limitations
Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, including the appointment booking calendar (CharmHealth) and embedded YouTube videos, and some links lead to outside websites and PDFs. We choose vendors with accessibility support where possible, but cannot fully control their interfaces.
Feedback
If any part of this website is difficult for you to use, please tell us. Write to office@maineadhdclinic.com, and we will do our best to fix the issue and provide the information you need in an accessible format.
